i have been watching that hurricane in complete horror. i heard that the shuman's and the napier's are alright, what about the rest of you? i realize it might be awhile before any of you even see this since there's a loss of electricity. just know that i stayed up all night watching that damn hurricane roll in and i was thinking of all of you every minute. wish i was there with you all...

I'm glad to hear Shumans and Napiers are alright. We are stuck in Killeen. My van broke down in Temple and I can't get the parts till Monday so I might be home Monday night or Tuesday. I've heard my house is ok and the neighborhood looks like a war zone. I lost my fence (old anyways) and power is out for who knows how long (goodbye fishies). But, we are all well and safe. Glad to here from you. I've enjoyed following your blogs. Be careful Love ya.
Hey jules, you were missed today. We could have used your wonderful words in the mist of some utterly screwed-up, plauge of biblical proportions stuff. Number one, everyone is safe (kind-of). Don fell off a ladder (WTF, why was Don on a ladder anyway???) But he's supposed to be ok. Pray. Second, rob k. is one honest and hurting mo-fo. His house is broken and his sprit is not too far behind. Pray. Three, thankfully (is it a blessing?) the weather was great while we were out of power for a week. I'm sure the misses will fill you in when she gets a chance. Be safe. Be you.
Mark, didn't know you were in Killeen. I know people, good folks who would have hooked you up. Got to work on this community thing.
