Great article for helping us question just how far we'd be willing to go to stand up for living with intentionality . . . even when it seemingly doesn't net us anything . . . The word that leaped off the screen for me was "power." I often read things like this and want to metaphorically put it on the stove and boil it down to its essence. Seems like lots of folks see "power bases" in the organized church and this man risked a lot of power to say what he said. Wondering if the loss of 1000 folks was viewed by him as loss or strength?
I'm just glad that someone is finally standing up to nonsense.
